So far so good. Waited until all the , "a new place opened up in Westport" crowd died down. Popped in on a Sunday late afternoon for food. The bartender was nice and got what I wanted asap. There was a lot of dishes to get out but they were fast to cook what ordered and efficient. Food was a good portion and service was on top of it. Nashville hot chicken actually had a kick which was amazing. some of the best Nashville Hot Chicken I've had. A lot of people can't get it right but they definitely got something right. The french fries I had with it even though they're shoestring, it definitely held its quality. I recommend people trying this place especially if it's not super busy.

The food is absolutely spectacular. Laney’s house made sauces and freshly baked biscuits are amazing. The chicken tenders are cooked to perfection and are the perfect size. Don’t get me started on the cider-glazed Brussels sprouts. And they locally source a TON of their products like their bread, chicken, & coffee just to name a few. They have an awesome cocktail menu, with something for everyone. My favorites are the Polly’s Soda Pop cocktails with crushed ice. The staff is so hospitable and friendly to every guest that walks in. They always greet you with a smile. There’s always great music, no matter if it’s a playlist on weekdays or live music on the weekends. And they have disco balls.

Went last night for the first time and it was amazing. The atmosphere was chill and the service was fast. The food was delicious and so was the peach cobbler. Not many options on the menu but the ones they had were perfect!

We loved our time sitting at the bar and the bartender was obviously experienced which is always a plus! We had a few beers and a cocktail and all were great! We also enjoyed the loaded shoestring fries, the fried chicken on top with the pimento cheese we found to be a nice compliment. The food and drink prices are relatively average compared with other bars in the area, cocktails starting at 10. We loved the atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon, the DJ was great, drinks strong, and AC blasting, perfect for a hot Saturday night walking around Westport!

Checked out Laney's in the KCMO Westport area for a quick lunch. I bet this place is hopping in the evening and on weekends. It was quite and clean during our lunch visit. Our food came out hot and delicious. I highly recommend the Laney chicken sandwich, the special sauce is yummy

If you’re in the mood for chicken, THIS is the place. The chicken and waffles was absolute perfection. The Bloody Mary was fantastic and our server, Aspen was a sweetheart. Ten out of ten would recommend.

When we walked by this place, we were immediately compelled to ditch our plans and go there instead. It has a colorful old school aesthetic, and some delicious fried chicken. I went for the chicken and waffles and was not disappointed. The waffle was fluffy, and the fried chicken was flavorful and crispy. I will say that it took a while to get our food, but I will chalk that up to the fact that we were the first customers of the day. That said, I'm very willing to return to try their lunch items.

Attentive and friendly service at the main bar. The food was delicious! Sauces were yummy! The menu could use a few more appetizers.
